Mystic Arts Foundation is honored to partner with Moonlight Collective as fiscal sponsor for the 2026 Burning Man Temple, The Temple of the Moon, led by artist James Gwertzman.
Inspired by the Queen of the Night flower, the Temple of the Moon will offer a sacred space for reflection, remembrance, grief, and rebirth — honoring beauty without permanence or promise.

The Temple of the Moon

The Temple of the Moon is inspired by the Queen of the Night flower, a fragrant desert cactus blossom (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) which blooms only once each year, at night, and whose flowers wilt before dawn.
